"Love is blind" or so the poet claims. If you're considering marriage, or intimately involved with someone, ask yourself, "What do I really know about them?"

Did you meet on a blind date, in a coffee shop, or a cocktail lounge? Maybe you met on an internet dating site? Did a matchmaker introduce you? If so, how well was your partner screened? Are there things about their background that "just don't add-up?" 

Before you make a lifetime commitment, ask yourself:

• Are they really single?
• What's their credit history?
• Have they ever been to prison?
• Have they ever been bankrupt?
• Are they bisexual, gay, or lesbian?
• Are they as wealthy as they claim?
• What's their real name and birthdate?
• Do they have children you don't know?
• Do they have a history of mental illness?
• Are they currently involved in a lawsuit?
• How many times have they been married?
• Are they a convicted felon or sex offender?

These are important questions, and you need the truth.
